Recently, our South Park learners reached an impressive milestone by earning a total of 1000 certificates on Lexia, an educational program designed to help students improve their reading skills. Lexia provides personalized learning paths that adapt to each student's needs, offering engaging activities that foster literacy development. This achievement highlights the dedication of our young learners and their commitment to mastering reading.
To celebrate this remarkable accomplishment, the students participated in a thrilling competition against their teachers and peers. The event took place during their usual specials block and featured a fun-filled race where participants rode on mats using scooters, all while collecting bowling pins to transfer back across the court. The excitement was palpable, with shouts of encouragement echoing down the hallways as students cheered each other on.
The day culminated in a finals round held during an assembly, where the stakes were high and the competition fierce. After an exhilarating series of races, the 3rd grade teacher team were announced as the winners of the finale were announced. Their victory sparked joy and pride among the staff and students alike.
